Born in Holland, Michigan, Amy returned to West Michigan after earning her bachelor degree from Indiana University and began her career in customer relationship marketing at an automotive dealership group. She worked there for 15 years before taking the opportunity to apply her skills to higher education, working at Davenport University as an Executive Director for the next 14 years.

One day while brainstorming with her father, who was a Realtor, Amy discovered that most Realtors do a great job of communicating with their current clients. She saw a chance for the industry to expand customer relationship marketing to its potential clients and past clients as well. Amy joined the world of real estate when her daughter, a past Lucas Howard Group client, referred her for a position with the Lucas Howard Group, who Amy saw as already being a industry leader in relationship marketing.

Amy is passionate about discovering people’s needs and goals, identifying how to help, learning their communication style, and delivering helpful and informative content. She uses research to continuously improve communication based on the client’s aspirations. “This is where customer relationship marketing grows from an initial phone call into a lifelong partnership," she says.

Her favorite way to spend Saturday nights is at the racetrack. Amy is car crazy and loves all forms of motorsports. When she’s not at the track or working, Amy can usually be found in the woods. She enjoys outdoor games, hiking, camping and geocaching. She is also an avid reader, a music lover, and a crazy cat and dog lady. Amy lives near Gun Lake in beautiful Yankee Springs township.
